Welcome!

I’m Kate, a Chicago-based learning specialist.

I grew up in Belarus, where “L&D” wasn’t really a career path, so I built my own: from consulting on study abroad programs to developing onboarding and talent development journeys in countries like China, the Netherlands, Norway, and the US.

Along the way, I researched the intricate relationships between education and cultures.

Today, I work like a learning architect: I design experiences that fit naturally into people’s daily work while preparing them for what’s next. My process always starts with research and active listening. Inside the firms I worked with, I’m known as a “friendly learning specialist” people can turn to when something isn’t working.

I’m usually the first one to dive into new tools, whether that’s video editing, knowledge bases, or AI workflows. I love helping teams use technology to make learning faster, smarter, and more sustainable.

Established Learning Specialist with diverse international experience

My passion is in helping people thrive in their roles and discover that learning can be fun.

Here are a few of the programs I've used, though this list is far from complete. I'm skilled in many more! As a lifelong learner with a passion for technology, I find it easy to adapt to new software.
